Welcome to the Central Bobcat website. We are the (Phoenix, Arizona) Central High School Alumni Association, organized in Summer 2003. Our purposes include:

Promoting fellowship among Central Bobcats of all graduating classes;
Furthering the educational experience and opportunities of current Central High School students and teachers; and,
Supporting Central High and public education in Arizona.

The Front Line:

Reports from Today's Central Teachers

The Alumni Association heard from Tom Williams, the coach of the freshman football team and P.E./Health teacher and AVID instructor. Here is what he had to say:

"Our freshman and JV football numbers are very good compared to the past. We are hoping to keep it this way with a few victories along the way. I will try and keep you updated with the Freshmen..."

We also heard from Mary Swierceski, FACS (Family and Consumer Sciences) Instructional Leader and Fashion Instructor. She is very enthusiastic about her programs and her students! Here's a sampling:

"...we have a full Family and Consumer Sciences Department at Central High School, which hasn't fully existed for at least 10 years. We are proud to have Fashion and Design, Foods, and Early Childhood Education courses to offer to 10-12th graders at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year levels, as well as a FACS Career Explorations course offered for Freshmen, We have worked very hard this past year, my first year at Central..."
