The Mighty Bobcat
A periodic e-newsletter from the Central High Alumni Association

Remember Central when doing year-end tax planning; help Central and/or Central extra-curricular clubs financially at no cost to you.

"Huh? Did I read that right?" Yes, you did. Arizona provides the opportunity for Arizona taxpayers to contribute to a variety of public and charter schools as a dollar-for-dollar credit against taxes owed. Furthermore, it is possible to contribute specifically for the purpose of a particular "extra curricular activity or character education program." For more complete information about the program, click here to view information published by the Arizona Department of Revenue (Adobe Reader required). Phoenix Union school district also publishes a contribution form, listing all the various eligible clubs and activities.

The Alumni Association Charter Member list is finally updated. Profuse apologies to all who contributed during the Charter Membership drive and have only recently been added to the list, including Cindy McCain, Sonia Tarrish, Bill Runyan, La Rhea Tracy, Steve Lynn, Elizabeth Finn, Daniel Blanchard, Vicki Vaughn, Faye Lemke, Linda Sutter, Jo Ann Burgess, Roxanne Song Ong, Kelly Helfinstine, Lee Johnson, David Weisman, David Ghiz, Michael Hennesy, Denise Wasberg, Cimento Smith, Rose Nichols, Diana Whitley, Timothy Bennett, Grady Dungan, Ralph and Royce and Paul Ring, Benjamin Wick, John Gale, Bill Elander, Mary Titcomb, Melinda Doeller, Laura Hogan, Linda Morris, and Dan and Lu Boyle.

 -------

Hooray for the Class of 1974 for their gift to the Alumni Association. The $100 contribution will cover almost a year's expenses for keeping this website on-line.

Getting this newsletter more than once? Please let the webmaster know if so, and how many times you are getting it so he can eliminate the duplicates. Oh, and sorry for the annoyance.

-------

Planning an event?

If you are planning reunions or other get-togethers, please let the Association webmaster know and we can try to publicize your event.
