New "Alumni Echoes" newsletter now available

Another sterling effort by Chuck Sankey ('63), the third edition of the Alumni Echoes is now available for viewing. Read up on all the hot Bobcat happenings. You will need Adobe Reader in order to open the file, as well as a little patience if you are using a dial-up connection. Links to download the Reader software and to open the newsletter are available at the website homepage.

First Annual Meeting of the Alumni Association on February 23

This is the official meeting of the Board of Directors of the Association. All are welcome; please attend to find out what your Association is doing and will be planning to do in the upcoming year. You can participate in the first-ever election of officers. Additional information:

New features on the Alumni Association website

In the last few weeks, we've made a number of changes and additions to the website. Three new galleries of photos have been added, including those from the October Homecoming event, of yearbook covers and of general memorabilia. MORE importantly, we've built an interactive database function into the site, whereby alumni can register their own contact information. Why the Association should want the information is detailed on the registration page. Basically, we could use your help updating the very incomplete record about Central alumni, e.g., where they are now and how they can be reached.

Next Association social event being planned

How long has it been since you've gone to an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social?  The Association is planning now to ring in Spring by honoring our collective sweet tooths (teeth?). Mark your calendars for April (tentatively the 17th). And of course, if you want to lend a hand organizing this thing, please let the Association know by writing to us at  chairman@centralhighalumni.org.
